     What do you really look for when you join a gym? Well, the One Spa & Fitness Center has all the answers for you. The Center dominates six floors of a high rise building that our Hunk celebrity actor Diether Ocampo co-owns and who can be seen regularly in the gym if his schedule permits.

When you enter the first floor, you will be greeted by young, attractive and courteous staffs who are more than willing to show you the facilities and the best way to use them depending on your needs and goals.There is a coffee shop/restaurant to your right and a hair/beauty salon to your left.
Go to the 2nd floor, you'll see a mini-boxing area, a rock climbing or boulder area and the aerobics room where the hardwood floor is soft and springy, its almost like you're walking in air. In the control room, you can chat with Boni Tan, the Managing Director, co-owner of the gym and a graduate of New Hampshire Sports Management in the States. His vision for the center speaks for itself as this article unfolds.
The 3rd floor is where you'll find the treadmills, free weights, Cybex machines, dumbbells, stretching area and Nestor Hernandez. Nestor has been Diether's personal trainer for 9 years now. He can tell you the scientific methods of training and exercising (hybrid, sports specific, rehab, sports conditioning) to eliminate injuries and he can expand your knowledge about functional training its almost like having a young UP professor in a gym. Well, after all he's a graduate of UP Diliman. His message though, as well as the whole management team, is "Being fit is not just about looking good but is all about being functional, being able to do regular activities and extraordinary tasks without undue fatigue."
OK, up on the 4th floor is where the foot reflexology lounge, the juice bar, the male and female locker rooms, the Jacuzzi and the sauna are located.
The 5th floor has the massage rooms where you can request for a masseuse in a communal room or your own private VIP room.
The 6th floor and the mezzanine are still under construction in preparation for the grand opening in December. Don't despair, though, the building has an elevator that can take you to any floors at your command. It also has ample parking spaces. OSFC had its soft opening in June so the low membership rates are still available.

According to Ms. Jay Jornales, Sales and Marketing Director, OSFC is the alternative choice for businessmen, students, commuters, gym enthusiasts and other professionals, to Makati's crowded social clubs especially if you live around Quezon City, Caloocan, Valenzuela and that sunny side of town. Members are 40% female and 60% male and must be at least 15 years old. She emphasizes that a well-rounded healthy person should be fit and one in mind, body and spirit which is why the center is named ONE. And that afterall… is the answer to life's unending questions!
